Raphael Adeduro Bademosi was born on 5 September 1930, and passed peacefully on 24 August 2026, in Ondo, Ondo State, Nigeria, at the remarkable age of 96.

A devoted Christian, Raphael lived a long life marked by quiet integrity, steadfast faith, and deep care for those around him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Abigail Bademosi, and their five children — Adetunji, Doyin, Goke, Adetoun and Adedayo — together with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward the values he lived by.

He was a man respected not for position or title, but for the goodness of his character — steady, trustworthy, and gentle in every dealing. His legacy endures in the family he raised and the community that knew him.

Raphael has gone to his rest, but he leaves behind a life richly lived, and a blessing that continues through those he loved.

My beloved father lived a full, remarkable life — 96 years of grace, kindness, and quiet distinction. He walked this earth with gentle strength and unwavering integrity; a man who needed no loud words to make his mark, because his character spoke for him.

He was deeply and widely respected across our community. His name carried weight not from title or position, but from goodness. Neighbours knew him as trustworthy; friends knew him as faithful. All who met him felt the warmth of a life lived with genuine care. He was quiet in his ways, steady in his convictions, and honourable in every action.

To us, he was so much more he was the foundation of our family, our greatest example, and our truest blessing. He showed us that integrity isn’t something you merely talk about; it’s how you live, day after day, choice after choice. And as Scripture so beautifully promises: his goodness has not passed with him. It lives on in the values he instilled, the strength he modelled, and the love he left behind.

He has gone to his rest, but his legacy remains bright, enduring, and a blessing to all who follow after him.

I honour him not only for the long life he was privileged to enjoy, but for the extraordinary man he chose to be throughout it all.

Rest peacefully, dear Dad.
